Everyone’s WFH

Hello, Gamestormers!

I hope you're well in your adjustments, and recognize others are adjusting, too. I've spoken with many of you anxious about transitioning to a new working style - see the note I sent to a client below. The discussions focus around virtual facilitation techniques and which tools to use; there are low- and hi-tech options!

You've probably seen many blog posts out there with tips and tricks, but sometimes it helps to talk it through.

Reach out and we'll schedule a call. The wifi is good in NY.

The games work in digital channels - last year we collaborated with Coda.io to create virtual templates for 13 foundational games. You should be able to see them here. For many workshop activities there are alternate tools to consider, I share the Coda work to demonstrate how easily the games transfer.

The bigger considerations are around meeting preparation, facilitation adjustments and supporting tech to deal with attention spans & distractions, varying levels of technical savvy and maintaining the integrity of collaboration and participation

Happy Gamestorming!
