Practice visual thinking with the NY Times weekly feature

Gamestorming has roots in Visual Thinking; to be a good Gamestormer you need to be a good visual thinker.

The New York Times weekly visual thinking feature is a great way to practice this skill. From the introductory post, five-and-a-half-years ago:

How do you make sense of what you see when you look at an image, especially if that image comes with no caption, headline, links or other clues about its origins? What can constructing meaning from an image teach you?

Constructing a story from only the details contained in the image forces critical thinking, a helpful visual thinking skill: knowing what to draw is as important as knowing how to draw it.

For a refresher on both, check out this xplanation, What is Visual Thinking?

The NYTimes feature is here. Play along with thousands of others every week.
